En utilisant le propranolol et la propafénone, ensemble, peuvent réduire votre pression artérielle et de ralentir votre rythme cardiaque. MONITEUR: ce Médicament peut augmenter de manière significative les concentrations sériques et les effets de certains par voie orale des bêta-bloquants. Le mécanisme proposé est l'inhibition du CYP450 2D6 métabolisme de premier passage et une diminution de la clairance hépatique. Les données sont disponibles pour le métoprolol et le propranolol seulement; toutefois, d'autres hepatically métabolisé par voie orale des bêta-bloquants peuvent également être affectées. Excrétées par voie rénale bêta-bloquants tels que l'aténolol, carteolol, nadolol, ou sotalol ne sont pas prévu pour interagir. En outre, les effets inotropes négatifs peuvent être potentialisés.

GESTION: les Patients recevant cette combinaison devrait être surveillés pour l'hypotension, insuffisance cardiaque, bradycardie, arythmie, et les modifications de l'état mental. Bêta-bloquant, la posologie peut être réduite si nécessaire.
